The fire temples of Tarem city are usually made of stone and saroj with a four-story plan and dimensions of four by four meters, and their cover is dome-shaped. Their overall composition is in the style of Sassanid era fire temples, which is comparable to "Niaser" fire temple in Kashan, with the difference that stone is used instead of brick for the main elements. These fire temples are classified among the attractive and historical elements of Zanjan province. In Tarem city, there are three fire temples from the Sassanid era that are registered in the list of historical monuments.

About Samiran Castle
This castle or fortress is one of the main pillars of the Samiran complex, which is located on a high stone hill. The easiest way to access the castle is from the north side, and the Qezal Ozen river passes through the south side of this castle.
According to historical evidence and researchers' writings, the original building of Samiran Castle probably dates back to the pre-Islamic period and had a special place in the Islamic period, especially in the 5th-6th centuries of Hijri. And it has always been the center of attention of different Islamic governments, and after going through a period full of ups and downs, it has continued to exist until the end of the 9th century.
The architectural elements of this building include the main core of the castle or the entire first wall as well as the remains of the second wall. The age of the building and its use as a defensive castle has caused it to suffer significant damages during different eras. The materials used in the building are mainly stone (natural), wood, plaster mortar and plaster coating. The main core of the castle in the north view includes two built-in towers. The height of the wall of the towers is nearly 15 meters. The most important thing in the construction of this castle was its military and defensive use.
