The world of tourism has shown me many attractions. Among the eight arts of the world, visual arts have had the greatest impact on the tourist attractions of all cities. But have you ever seen an attraction where visual arts are used in a natural way? The Valley of Sculptures is one of the wonders of Iran, where nature has created sculptures and made statues that no other sculptor has ever made.

Where is the statue valley?
Hormozgan Province, southern coast of Hormoz Island
When is the best time to visit this valley?
What attractions are there in the Valley of the Statue?
What you see by traveling to Hormuz Island and visiting the Valley of Statues
At the beginning of entering the Valley of Statues, you will imagine that you have entered a normal beach, and like all other beaches, the soothing sound of the waves will be heard. If you go barefoot, you will feel the coolness of the beach sand on your soles and you can experience the pleasure of walking by the sea, when the whole space is silent and no sound can be heard except the waves. The excitement of playing in sea water is an experience that does not need to be explained and you must know how good it can feel.

In the continuation of the path, which is a bit difficult to pass, the unique rocks of the Valley of the Statues are gradually visible. Rocks that are unlike any other rock and have unique designs that cannot be seen anywhere else. Looking at these rocks awakened my inner child and made me seek to find the shape of the natural sculptures in the valley, like when I look at the clouds in the sky and think of a shape for each one. The charm of these rocks is as much as the cotton clouds in the blue sky, and you can stare at them for a long time and think of unique shapes for them. What forms do you think with the images of the article?

The valley of statues attracts the attention of people who are more interested in pristine natural attractions. In this area, there are no traces of human-made changes, and in my opinion, this is the most important feature of the valley. Valley of the Statues is unknown like other parts of Hormoz Island and many tourists return without visiting Hormoz Island. But people who are familiar with this valley know that it is one of the most spectacular tourist attractions in southern Iran.

When did the story of Valley of the Statues begin?
The story of Valley of the Statues can begin as soon as your imagination allows. For example, when maybe the dragons were real, but they turned into stone in this valley and remained busy watching the sea. The Valley of the Statues is very old. The rocks have been created over time and by the accumulation of minerals from the sea and have gradually come out of the water. The age of several thousand years of this valley is quite clear from the mythological statues made by nature.

In general, Hormuz Island is a natural work that is very old and each of its attractions may be thousands of years old. Nature is a patient mother who, with patience and spending a lot of time, has implemented the eighth art in different parts of the world. If you have seen fantasy movies like Dragon Heart or The Hobbit, you might imagine that this valley dates back to the time of dragons and dinosaurs!

Why is this valley known as Tandis Valley?
By now, you have probably realized why the valley in Hormuz Island is called the Valley of Statues or Statues. Sculptures that touch the rough stones and you realize that no tools were used to make them except the flow of sea water and a lot of patience!

The unique shape of the rocks is the main reason for the name of this valley. Shapes that everyone with their perspective can have a different take on the story they're telling. By now, you probably have noticed my mythological take on the dragons of Statue Valley; But I had a friend who saw most of the rocks as cute pets like sparrows, roosters, cats, etc. This valley shows you how powerful your imagination is and what you can visualize.

What do you think the rocks of the valley of the statues look like?
Have you ever seen pictures where you can see several different shapes? Some of them are psychological tests and they say that if you see a certain picture, you have these personality traits, and if you see another picture, your personality is like this. In my opinion, the statues of the Valley of Sculptures also have such a feature, and everyone will have a different perception of them according to their point of view. For example, when we traveled to this island, I saw a rock that looked like a big snake that opened its mouth to hunt, but my friend saw that rock that looked like an eagle staring at a prey.

The cliffs of Statue Valley can look like anything you imagine. Of course, there may be common features between everyone's imagination. Tourists usually see rocks in the form of dragons, birds of prey, dinosaurs, snakes, etc. If you have the experience of traveling to this area, write us how you see the rocks.

Traveling to the valley of statues in these seasons is a double pleasure
One of the most important advantages of the valley of statues is its virginity. For this reason, there is usually no news of the hustle and bustle of other tourist spots in this area, and peace and quiet is what you experience at every moment. But an important point is to escape from the excruciating heat of the south. If you go to this valley in late spring or early summer, the heat will be so hot that you won't be able to enjoy the sound of the waves or fantasize about the shape of the rocks!

Like other places, the best time to visit the Valley of Statues is in autumn, winter and early spring. In these seasons, air is exactly what you need. Favorable temperature and cool air, a gentle breeze blowing from the sea, and the sun, instead of overwhelming heat, shines a favorable light to complete the feast! This combination is more enjoyable when you have taken shelter from the cold of other cities of Iran to the pleasant south and put away warm clothes for a few days.

Hormuz Sculpture Valley is located in the south of the island and is about 10 kilometers away from the residential area. Some of the other attractions of Hormoz Island, such as Rainbow Valley and Red Beach, are close to this valley, but some of the island's attractions, such as the Portuguese Castle, the Valley of Silence, or Dr. Nadalian Museum, are distant and about 10 kilometers away from Hormoz Sculpture Valley.

To travel to Hormuz Island, you can go from Qeshm and Bandar Abbas. Of course, traveling from Qeshm has more restrictions and the services of this island go to Hormuz only twice a day; Once in the morning and once in the afternoon. To travel from Qeshm, you must go to Shahid Zakari Wharf located in Azadi Square and board a barge. The barges that go to Hormuz cannot carry a car and you have to park your vehicle in the parking lot.

Hormuz Island is easier to access from Bandar Abbas; Because a barge leaves for Hormuz every two hours from Haqqani Wharf in Bandar Abbas. Nature tourism is one of those types of entertainment that can remove the fatigue of a year of hard work from my body! This is probably why I prefer natural attractions to man-made attractions.
